Ghost of War - Oak Tree Talent Event
My ambition is to be a full-time fiction writer. I love telling stories. Even more, I love making them up. Below you can find links to just some of my work.
For a writer, short stories are an effective medium for developing a style and honing story-telling skills. For the reader they are a quick and convenient time-saving escape into the world of fiction. Below are a selection of my favourite unpublished short stories for you to read.
Walking with the Gods
Diane Peters is a frustrated singleton on the verge of turning thirty. She is desperate to make more of her life - but just how far will she go?
Cold Caller
When Tara Wunch stands up her internet date, Tom Baxter, he sets out to mend his broken heart.
Drop
When Caine wakes up in a body bag, he discovers why the crack SAS team he headed were ambushed.
Incubus
Having changed his career path to pursue a dream, Michael looks to have taken a wrong turn - until he is visited by somebody from his past.
Oak Tree Event
Ghosts of War is a 15-minute stageplay I submitted to Oak Tree Event organised by Divian Ladwa to showcase emerging talent. The play was recorded during a rehearsal session and can be seen here intertwined with the two other plays featured: Sex Spurts written by Eileen Dunwoodie and A Certain Child written by Caroline Tateo-Santi.
